How’s that for size? TWO-YEAR-OLD Christopher Booth found that the train driver’s cap fitted a treat when he visited the Abingdon Model Railway Club’s annual show at St Nicholas Church Hall. Two of the layouts on display are featured in a new book on railway modelling, and club members were on hand to work their own layout – a re- creation of Charlbury Station. They will soon be ready to embark on a new stage of adding signals to the layout. Visitors also viewed other station layouts complete to the finest detail including a broken window pane and graffiti: During the last three years members have built up a book club with a library of information on many railway topics.
